Location: the hotel was not far from the centre of Eastwood, and the pub on Saturday evening. Grill bar Epic Diner was located 10 minutes walk away. I was given newly remodelled and spotless room with good heating, the bar, single bed.

Enjoyed our stay. Everything was great, we had lovely 2 days here. Our room was cheap and complete with bathroom, the bar and single bed. You could leave a car on-site.

The rooms suffer from inadequate cooling!!! Noise from the pub and street is a huge annoyance when trying to sleep!!! Bathrooms need immediate updates to match modern standards!!!

Not Great Service
Checked in late after a long day and things went downhill from there. Tried to grab a bite at 7:45am but was told I couldn't, even though I just needed something simple. Plus, the staff seemed super dismissive and rude. Food service was a mess too, drinks left at the bar. The bar was the only decent spot to chill, though.

I really enjoyed my stay here, especially the cozy double room and the good breakfast spread. The beautiful garden area had comfy seating and a lovely fountain, perfect for relaxing. The heating in the room was a bit excessive, but it didn't ruin my experience at all. 😊

The staff were friendly and accommodating, ensuring that my work-related needs were met seamlessly. The room was clean and well-organized. Breakfast was freshly prepared and offered a variety of hearty options that helped kickstart my day.
The room became quite warm overnight, making it uncomfortable for sleep.

The building itself is a fine historic structure, with a rich past and beautifully preserved features. I really enjoyed wandering the historic town, especially the church tower that had views nearly untouched by time.
It wasn't exactly budget-friendly, but it was still acceptable for what we got.

good stay but could improve cleaning
The staff were cute. I loved the tasteful decor of the rooms.
The cleanliness of the bathroom could have been better.

Consider trying the local curry spots nearby for a good meal experience beyond the pub's offerings.

If you're into good nosh, Eastwood's got a gem with Gurkha Express just a short trot away for some great curry! The bar at Sun Inn serves decent drinks, perfect for a cheeky pint after exploring the town. The rich history is a bonus, especially knowing D.H. Lawrence's roots are around the corner!
The pub's booming tunes can interfere with a good night's sleep, especially on weekends. My room turned into a sauna seemingly with just the warmth of the walls that I won't forget in a hurry.
